Hi everyone,

I am new to these forums and I recently spoke with a National Guard Recruiter and I was wondering if anyone can give me some information on what mos 25B actually does?

I read the description, but would like to get some information from anyone who is presently or has done the 25B. Any information would help such as daily duties, drill training, everything including Iraq etc.

The guard has a lot to offer, I am thinking about joining. Especially if what the recruiter says is 100% true. (will ask more questions here later)

Any information would be great, thanks for your help. I'm in Washington State if that matters.

I did 6 years of active duty and tried very hard to reclass to 25B. Network systems analyst is indeed a very much in demand job. I decided recently to get out and joined the NG and am now headed to school in wonderful ft gordon. What you can expect is a intro to networking and trouble shooting PC's. Once you are at your unit expect to deal with alot with simple stuff like loading and installing software and if you land in a signal unit expect more in depth tasks. I worked my 6 yrs active duty as a 42A imitating a 25B if you like working with computers then gain the secret clearance and then the training and advance from there to be an all around 25B.

Thanks for the information. I was surprised that 25B was top 10 for Washington State and offering 20k. (At least that is what the recruiter said) I'm probably going to try to get it. Off the top of your head do you know what is required for the ASVAB?

Buddha, 25B is Information systems Operator any info you have would be great. I am going to school for a BA in Networks and Communications Management and would like my military experience to tie into civilian training.
