Any heart problems require that a pre-eval be sent to MEPS prior to taking a physical, but the following conditions are permanent disqualifiers from enlisting in the Army National Guard:
-Arrhythmia if symptomatic or appearing on EKG
-Coronary artery disease
-Heart Attack
-Pericarditis
-PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) if sufficiently symptomatic to require treatment
-Supraventricular tachycardia (unless there has been no recurrence during the preceding 2 years while off medication)
-Tachycardia (pulse rate of 100 or greater) if persistant
-Valvular diseases (as defined in 6130.4 page 24)
-Ventricular conduction disturbances (as defined in 6130.4 page 25)
