My reserve commitment has me drilling until 2009 and on IRR until 2011. Can I transfer to the Guard after 2009 or do I have to wait until 2011? Thanks!

You can transfer to the National Guard at any time as long as you receive an approved DD Form 368, Request for Conditional Release.

I been trying to go back to National Guard since June of 2010. If I am in the IRR, shouldnt it just be a transfer and not the complete re-enlistment process?
