Warrant Officer Help Please

I am currently a private second class in the ANG. Im about to finish AIT and am interested in being a warrant officer. I checked some of the preliminary requirements and I seem to have checked them all off except for the E-5 issue. It would be ideal to go from a specialist to a warrant officer when I attain that rank. I assume that it may be another year before I get that rank as I am about to receive PFC. Anyways, to the point I thought about being a teacher in the computer field and I know more about my MOS than almost every soldier getting MOSQ'd with me. I love my field and maybe this would be a good idea for me? I just want to know what the process is like and how warrant officers are addressed and spoken to, things like that. Work with your state's OSM or Command Chief WO. WO predetermination is both an art and a science. Depending on your civilian credentials it is theoretically possible to get approved for WO without having attained the rank of E5. It's not common, however, so don't put all your hopes in that plan. Your OSM can help guide you to a future WO appointment with career advice and planning. He can also hook you up with a current WO in your field to discuss the life of a WO.
