No Animal Care Specialist?

Is there any specific reason why the 68T MOS isn't offered to those in the Guard?...Or did I misunderstand and it just isn't currently open in my state?

It's a very small MOS. The National Guard force structure has no positions. You may wish to consider an available MOS, and then using tuition assistance and GI Bill to attend civilian school for that career.
