I have been thinking about the joining the Guard and was just wondering where is the Basic Training done for both men and women?

When I went through in 1996 the COED basics where at Fort Jackson SC and Fort Leonardwood Missouri. I am not sure what changes have been made since then, although depending on your MOS some basic training and MOS trainings are done together at the same location. Hope this helps.

It depends on what MOS you choose as to where you go for Basic.

It helps. I am still waiting to hear from a recuriter. I am supposed to hear something within a week. Thanks for the info.

I am a female and would like to do either MP or Medic. I am not sure yet but I have worked as a CNA(certified nurse aide) and as a Correctional Officer. Either one would be fine with me. So where is the traning for those two? Any answers would be helpful. I found the other answers helpful thank you.
