A recruiter told me that once you finish the basic 10wk training, you can train in a career. I was wondering if there is a K-9 career division in the NG?

Military Police units sometimes have K-9 divisions but that varries from state to state. The only way to know if your state has a K-9 unit is to ask a recruiter (or someone in the unit). As far as equine, the calvary has long been replaced by the Air Calvary (helocopters) and Armored Calvary (tanks). The only other way to work with horses, would be as an Army Veteranarian. Those jobs are few and far between, and I'm not even sure if the National Guard has those. Like I said before, the only way to know is to ask a recruiter in your area to find out for you.
