I was enrolled in the ROTC program in college. I completed the basic course at Ft. Knox. I then completed the course work with great grades and earned a Military Science minor. However, I did not complete Advanced Camp due to a failed PT score in my Junior year. I was to go back the next year. Since I was not a scholarship student and had no obligation at that point I chose at that time due to issues at home not to purse a career at that point. I was assinged to a guard unit in the SMP program. I was moved to the IRR. Now that time has passed and I am older, wiser and in better shape, I really feel that I wasted a great oppourtunity. I just need advice on which way to go. Should I go back to school and see about working the military science department? I already have a Bachelor of Science, but I was thinking about going for a masters. Should I rejoin the guard and try for OCS?

If you can complete ROTC requirements as a master's student, then by all means do so! Speak with your ROTC scholarship officer about a Guard ROTC scholarship (two year awards for grad students).

You can enlist for OCS, but that plan will cause you to start from scratch with basic training (ROTC's LTC doesn't count outside of ROTC-world). It's a viable plan, but I strongly recommend that you go the OCS route only if ROTC can't work for some reason.
