I seperated a commissioning program with the Air Force, so my DD214 reads seperation code: JFF and RE code: 4L. I have been told that there is a waiver that I could get and that I should be able to reenlist into the National Guard. I was curious what I would need to do in order to apply for that waiver. Im looking at moving and joining the NG where I move, so Id like to have everything I can done before I get there (to speed the process up and possibly even make life a little easier for the recruiter).

Additionally, just out of curiousity, I was wondering how the training process would work. I have 6 weeks of Basic Cadet Training with the Air Force, so would I attend the Army's basic training, or would I go through the Warrior Transition Course. Also, I want to enlist as a 19D, so if I have to go through regular Army basic training, Im assuming it would be the OSUT route, but how would AIT work after the WTC (if that is the route I would end up taking).

Lastly, when I first "enlisted" into the Air Force they didnt apply my advanced promotion to E3 (based on 3 years in Army JROTC). I was wondering if I would be able to reenlist at the grade of E3 with the NG, or if I can only enlist at E2, which is what I left at. Thank you for any help you could provide.
