I just swore in yesterday as an O-2 (27A - JAG), and I'll begin drilling in September with the 167th Theater Sustainment Command in Anniston, AL.

I know the basic pay for an O-2 with no prior service is $3,162.90. I'm also pretty sure that my law school only counts for rank, not for pay.

On a typical month (only two days of drill), what would my basic pay be?

BAH? BAS?

According to this chart: http://militarypay.defense.gov/pay/bp/paytables/4DrillPaytable_2010.pdf

You will be paid $421.72 for a normal drill weekend. You don't get BAH or BAS unless you are on active duty.

Use this calculator, it will give you the Basics. Remember one drill period is a MUTA. In a weekend drill, that is Sat & Sun, that is a MUTA4, so 4 drill periods. Welcome to the Alabama National Guard.
