Im interested in joining the guard, my preference in a mos would be administrative. Id just like to know what is the likelyhood of soldiers with the administrative mos being deployed to hostile areas.

Soldiers in those MOS's are deployed when their units are mobilized. Granted some specialties may see less action than others but deployments in the ARNG have more to do with the unit of assignment than with the MOS itself.

Admin MOSes are almost as likely to deploy as combat arms MOSes. Every unit need admin personnel to support their deployment. Being a soldier means that you are willing to train to support any mission. If you're looking for a job that won't deploy, you may need to stick with the Army Band or the Coast Guard.
