Still an awesome program. Graduate from high school and already have a year of service!

I came out of my senior year with around 16 months already. It set me up to be an E-4 right out of AIT/Airborne.

And also, for the record, there is no split option for anyone but high school juniors. If you're in college then you do all your Initial Entry Training at one time. That is just part of your sacrifice for the military.

This is incorrect.

Split Op is available to High School Juniors, High School Seniors, College Students, or Seasonal Workers. Split Op is still avaialable in California to those listed above except High School Juniors. To contract Split Op you must be on a 6 x 2 or 8 x 0 contract.
Split Op is not currently available to High School Juniors in California because there are not more BCT dates that will allow them to return to school on time to complete their senior year.
