Just so you know i am not in the military but from my friends and family that are, i heard that it is a mental challenge and a physical one. The physical part wont be super hard if you exercise often. But once you are done, you are proud of what you have done and proud to be able to serve your country.

Don't worry about BCT it's just a starting point. It's not so bad when you look back at it, but it does **** while you're there. Just get there, get done, and get home. Too easy.

It's an experience like no other, you will love it!

It's hard, as it should be, but not impossible. Only the most physically and mentally deficient people should really flunk out of Basic.

I loved it! When I enlisted the second time I asked if I could go back through. Just do what your told and be where your supposed, keep your mouth shut at all times. And remember they are training you to defend OUR country, it's worth it!

i loved it i think you will to just don't take the drill sergeants seriously if they are yelling at you they are just trying to make you stronger, also just do ur best and you will be fine.

I read an article yesterday about the DI's doing less yelling at basic training. I tried to find the article so I could post it, but I can't find it. If I find it, I'll post it.

The hardest part of BCT... is reception batallion.
after that you make friends real easy, you gorw a bond with your Drill SGT and things are just as hard as you make it.
Just get threw reception batallion, go to basic, and enjoy it.

I'll never forget that in the last week my Drill Sgt called me their Battle Buddy, instead of worthless, it was really something.:D

The only bad thing about basic (besides that reception battalion... ech!) is that there is always going to be people there that slipped through the cracks to get in. These people will show a lack of motivation, try to sneak around the drill sergeants' backs and break all the rules (they'll get caught... the drills were privates once too!), and whine and cry about how horrible they're being treated. Try to bring these people in and make them a part of the team early on so they don't make the entire experience for everybody!

hey the best part about reception @ 30th AG has got to be the food its the best but yeah just do what youre told and dont be stupid. We had a kid stab himself in the throat with his k-bar and we had to do first aid until the medics got there. but yeah dont worry even Ft.Benning was fun and easy if you have a good attitude about it:cool:
