Tried calling recruiter's cell today but he must be on the road. About the only time he wont answer is if he is driving. Otherwise he is awesome and helpful at ANY time of day. Anyways, can RSP be done in a different Division then the unit you will be assigned to? If so, does it involve alot of extra work for whomever is incharge of that paperwork? I dont want to cause problems. Since MEPS isnt for a little over a month, I cannot be sure of the unit I will be with. It is still up in the air between two units, one being in the local division that RSPs just like fifteen miles from me. The other one would be a frew hours drive. I know i'll have to make the drive for drill once MOSQ, but until then i'd gladly take advantage of a closer drive if it is an option. It is actually the same division recruiter is in, and one I went to go check out. I will have aprox. ten months of RSP is also a reason i'm asking.

You'll have to wait until you can get ahold of your recruiter to get an answer to this question.

Thanks.
He actually contacted me first. Asked me if 20 OCT would be OK for MEPS. I've been under the assumption it wouldnt be until November, so pretty excited! He also brought up RSP first and suggested going to the one close to here. So thats cool.
I've had this nasty sinus infection that had my entire body in pain, energy that was just zapped as soon as I stood up, a temp that couldnt get under 100 degrees even with Tylenol, and all the other ucky stuff that comes along with it....for over three weeks. Finally about three days ago I think I hit the peek and now am getting better. Worse part is I had to stop almost all PT because of it. Now RSP is likely to start in November if all goes well at MEPS. YIKES! I better get my butt movin' and forget about a COMPLETE recovery and get working out...HARD! Luckily I dont have weight to loose.
The boyfriend broke up with me after a four+ year relationship a few days ago. Lived with him and his three kids for the past three years. I'm actually now renting from him. Gave me the nice story of he used me for most of the relationship. Anyways, I have lots of motivation to make the Guard work, and good motivation for stepping up my PT. Was going to wait aprox. ten months for BCT/AIT, but now i'm going to shoot for towards the end of this winter. And shortly there after look hard for fulltime Guard employment. I can now move anywhere i desire! :) And if a fulltime job doesnt come along (likely a 42A, 21T, or unit supply clerk MOS) i'm going to work at going active Army. I want to make a career out of this. My 32nd Birthday is two days after MEPS, hoping to get a nice early present by being ablel to swear in! :)
