Quick Ship Bonus question?

I am probably already goin to receive the OffPeak bonus, and was wondering about the quick ship. does my MOS have to be a Cash Bonus job to receive the quick ship bonus? Im goin 19D, and thought that if i ship within 45 days, i would be eligible for the Bonus. any thoughts?

You have to already be eligible for an enlistment bonus to qualify for the quick ship bonus.

if you go before may and you ship within 45 days after signing and swearing you will receive both. But note you must be joining a deployable unit in order to receive either of these.

You must already qualify for an enlistment bonus to receive the Off Peak and Quick Ship bonus.

You don't get either one of them if you don't qualify for an enlistment bonus.

I have a similar question. My recruiter said he isn’t sure if I am eligible for either. I'm going to MEPS on Thursday and he wants to get me in BCT by mid-end of March. I'm joining 09S.

No. 09S do not get enlistment bonuses, so you won't get the off-peak or quick ship either. You might, if you get lucky, get an accession bonus when you finish BOLC B. You won't know if you can get it until you finish OCS and sign the bonus contract as part of your commissioning.

Good luck getting a fast ship date. I had to jump through flaming hoops to get mine in april
