Good Afternoon,

I dislocated my right shoulder in '95 and '98. I realize that I'll probably need a waiver. Any idea how long a waiver of this nature might take? or will this injury cause a lot problems in enlisting in MP unit.

You will need to provide your recruiter with all medical documents relating to your shoulder injury. You will also need a letter from your doctor stating that your injury is 100% healed, and you currently have full strength and full range of motion. If you cover all of your bases, you may not need a waiver. If a waiver is required, it will likely be a state-level waiver that can be approved within a week.

What is the minimum enlistment period for MP in the National Guard? Also do you know the age cutoff for ROTC? Thank you
