He's shipping early January. We're going to be at Benning together! *gasp*.
They're definitely not issuing ACUs here in Minnesota. We get neat looking wind suits though.

Yeah I was recently informed that I won't get my gear until my first drill in November. They won't let me get it from a sister company in the same unit that's in an armory 20 minutes away from me vice the 4 hour drive I have in November. I was hoping to report to my new unit all squared away. :)

Guess you get to look like a scrub. Welcome to the club. Show up with dreads and a ghottee while you're at it. That's the best way to dress to impress.

Well that first drill left me sore. It wasnt too bad, i wasnt happy about my run time. We had a pt test the second i got there. I passed everything except for the dang run. You guys really didnt get your ACU's? That's crazy. I love doing drill man, my squad had awesome skills and we won a little competition with the other squads and we kicked some butt. They all got smoked. I only got smoked once because i forgot to shave, they would have never known if i didnt tell them. (the cadre) They smoked us by making us do iron mikes until we couldnt do it anymore. We dropped to the floor and couldnt even move. You guys should talk about your experiences if you have any of course.
