Thinking about doing ROTC when I go to school in September 2010.
I know you get an allowance and stuff but what if I was an enlisted member too...how soon can I commission so I wont loose any enlistment bonus I got if I got any?

Yeah i got 81 from a community college lol. SO i got my associates degree, and at my local state college, most of them dont count. To make a long story short Ill transfer 45, so...Im going to change majors any way, and get a double major, becuase I will need electives anyway to fufill the 120 credits. it will take another 3 years, and one for my masters...so four. ROTC...dont know if I will do it, but since school is one year away, and ROTC can be taken for two years before deciding I got two years to sleep on it haha...so, can you answer my questions?

I know to keep your bonus you must stay in 6 months after the first payment. remember that's 6 months from your first payment not 6 month from your contract start date. You would be able to join now and contract as a MS2 in ROTC and be eligible to commission in 3 years. but since your going for your masters you will have that extra year where they wont let you commission till your done with school if you want that ROTC money.

You keep bonuses when you contract with ROTC.
