What is the waiver for?

The indefinite hold is to find out if an enlistee who is a glossary non prior had a waiver for 2 felonies back when he first enlisted. Any thoughts as to getting around this problem?

All the recruiter need to do is to do a police record check, get the dates of the felonies, and determine if a waiver is authorized to enlist. Proceed with the waiver if it is possible, and go from there. It shouldn't be on an indifinite hold.

I understand..But first thing first..Initially a waiver was needed for the recruit to get in the army back in 94, and apparently the enlistee did not get one but still managed to get in and during his iet he had family problems and requested to get out.. now the pa guard is searching for a waiver that was supposed to be there but never happened.. the recruit signed up for the guard this time and the pa guard is telling him that he may be discharched before he ships to iet due to the pa guard cant hire him with 2 felonies that happened over 20 years ago... any suggestions

Gotcha...sounds like an administrative nightmare. I hope it all works out, but it doesn't look good.
