Anybody been to FLW for MP BOLC III? I know it's a TDY situation, but is there any way to take one's family since I'll be gone about 16 weeks? What about housing etc. All the normal questions
(Apparently I can't use all caps in the title.)

You're welcome to bring the family, but ...
1. You won't get on-post housing for them.
2. You won't get BAH, since you're on TDY orders.
3. You'll need to make your own arrangements.
4. Your training chain of command has the right to mandate that you personally live on post.
5. You may find it inconvenient to live off post, given the pace of training.

Have you went to the MP home page on AKO? Most if not all of your questions are answered there.

Leave the family at home, bring them out for a few visits...Your schedule may not allow for family time some weeks.

I was at FLW for EOBC and had friends that were in MPOBC. Same rules applied to each branch. You are allowed to have your family visit you in lodging, but not stay for more than 15 to 30 days.
Lodging off post is not cheap. And, not real convenient to post. Its nice being in the lodging especially when you have to be up @ 0430 or earlier for PT or other training events.
I agree, leave the family at home. You will need to concentrate on learning and getting into better shape.
