I am going to Meps on Monday and I have a load of questions before I go. My recruiter has been very helpful for some things but not so for others. Here are my questions:
1. I am trying to decide between 19d and 11b. I am wanting to do airborne, air assault and ranger schools. Which would be best for me in terms of getting there. I am also wanting to join the counter drug unit in Texas or SF when it comes here.
2. I scored a 79 on the practice asvab which I think is low. My recruiter said that would get me anything I want. Is that true? I have seen on these boards that people have scored in the 90's on the real asvab. The only part I struggled with is the algebra section which I have improved on since I started college and am taking math. It has been six years since high school for me.
3. How do I get into Airborne, Ranger and Air Assault schools? I am wanting to do Airborne first. I saw online that if I go to Ft. Benning and do ait there that I can attend Airborne directly after BCT and AIT. How do I make this happen.
