I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD ANSWER A FEW QUESTIONS FOR ME. MY FIRST ONE BEING WHERE IS AIT TRAINING DONE FOR 42A-HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALST, AND HOW LONG IS IT? ALSO, IF I WERE TO FINISH WITH BCT AND AIT IN THE MIDDLE OF A SEMESTER, WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR ME TO CONTRACT SMP THROUGH ROTC FOR THE FOLLOWING SEMESTER?

I recently signed a contract for that MOS 42A and that AIT is in Fort Jackson South Carolina. I believe that the training is 9 or 10 weeks. Hope that helps.

hey...you asked this in the old forum too right?
I talked to my recruiter because I am in the same situation. He said it is possible as long as you are aligned academically. I hope to finish both basic and AIT by December and come back to school, contract and graduate by the end of the MSIV year in ROTC. Hope this helps!
