back from osut for 21b

hey everyone. i got back monday from osut at ft. leonard wood mo. i went to be combat engineer. just wanted to say hi again. how everyone been doing? im thinking about going officer. im goin to try to get in smp. i have to talk to my recuiter and officer recuiter about it.

ii thought it was really easy. just do what they tell you when they tell you and theres no problems. a bunch of people complaining about things even though they knew what they got them selves into. the tests in ait are really easy. they are like a 5th grade level. they also give u like 3 chances to pass everything.

Yes it was easy, and I had a lot of fun especially on ceftx that was awesome.

They have a nice base down there, though, some of the live fire ranges are old and need updated. Est was fun, that's where u train on basically a huge screen videogame.


All in all good choice to go 21b. You may not get the chance to blow a lot of stuff up at basic / ait, but maybe you will if you get deployed!

You will really enjoy ft. Lost in the woods. All the ds are really cool once u get to know them like 3-4 weeks after ur there. Stay focused and enjoy it. Basic training is a one time only.

hey i was in hotel co 35th. its brand new company we were the first cycle for them. our ds came from other company and we had one that it was his first cycle as ds. i actually didnt care for est. my platoon ds for ds burton, ds davenport. they were the two that came from other companies. who were yours? you liked ur ceftx? ours was sorta boring. we did one mission each day that lasted two hours and that was it. our final mission our ds told us we had 2mile walk to the lake then we had to assault the lake. well as we started walking the c/o decided that the whole walk was going to be throught the woods which we didnt prepare for or map out so it was interesting. then it started pouring rain. thats one thing that is crazy there is the weather. i remember one week it went from 75 on tuesday. raining on wednesday. tornado watches on thursday and then 8inches of snow on friday lol.

My ds were : loveless, skaggs, wasburton, diestra, cureton, at one point we had ds elwood but I know he went to h co to start that up also heard he was gonna be ur 1sg , was he?


We had a few more ds but ya we had fun. And yes the weather is unpredictable there too.

loveless was 3rd plt ds. elwood was senior ds. he is going to be 1sgt at fort riley i believe it was. our 1st sgt was 1st sgt mosley
