To tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind doing it each weekend too. But, I'd need a few days off a month. After 5 days at my civilian job of 50-60 hrs then 2 days at NG, I get pretty tired. I have the strength to do RSP once a month but don't know if I could do it EVERY weekend. I think I'd need 3 days off a month from both. Or, I couldn't function.
But yes, I love going too. I have RSP this weekend! Kinda siked about it! It's gonna be fun.

I like RSP, but I wish mine encompassed more training than waiting. The down time, to me, seems like it could be better spent on practicing formation movements, saluting, etc. We've had little to no training on when/how to salute. I'm picking it up as I can.

The ones that have interesting RSPs are lucky! Thank god we have a decent one... last time I went as civy, and they were teaching us how to use claymore mines, AT4s, M249 Maintence, blah blah... :D

Yea, I got home from RSP today and it was fun. There was so much less waiting and more doing. We did the M249 class but I didn't get to tear it down. I did forget it after we got smoked for someone doing "something" wrong. Luckily, someone picked it up and took it over for me  I have to say we did about 2 hours of D and C and also a company 3 mile run. First one they've ever done and it was great! A little slow but better than waiting to be told to do something. 1 person fell out and 1 person could not keep up. I stayed in the back to "motivate" him. It worked for a while. All in all, it has been getting better each drill.

sounds fun! I see your age.... I'm 24, feels weird to be the oldest person there... especially when everyone is like 17 lol....
I would have fallen out at the 3 mile run, not in enough shape for that right now :(
