Hello,
This is my plan. I currently am an ATC student at the University of Anchorage Alaska. I am a good student with a 3.66 GPA. I am two semesters away from graduation and I pushed graduation back a semester to join the NG. I haven't decided on an MOS yet but it will be aviation related. When I get done with my initial training I will finish up my associate degree. At the same time I will get a private pilots license for both fixed wing and rotor craft. After I get done with what I have outlined above I would like to apply to become a warrant officer and hopefully a helicopter pilot. I have some question's though;

1) Is the age limit waveable till 30 because I am already in the NG?

2) Can I go in as a E-3 because of the credit hours I have already earned?

3) How hard is it to gain the rank of E-5 and will my rank go up after I get my degree?

4) How hard is it going to be for me to change my MOS if I get accepted as a warrant officer?

5) I was told that it will be stated in my contract that as long as I am in school full time that I will not be deployed. Is this true?

6) Will the fact that I am married with an 18 month old child and worked full time wile going to school be a factor in whether I get accepted as a warrant officer?

7) Just because I get accepted as a warrant officer, dose that qualify me to become a helicopter pilot?

8) When I finish what I have outlined above will my application be competitive? I am pretty sure that I will score high on any aviation related test they give me so that shouldn't be a problem.

9) Is there anything that I have not taken into account or anything else I can do to make me a shoe-in?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.:)
