Volunteer Letter Format

Does anyone have an example, template or link to the proper format for crafting a Deployment Volunteer Letter (as mentioned in the FAQ).

I actually imagine the format would be the same for most any correspondence but have seen some wildly different examples on the web.

I miss the days when a DF 1594 and a grease pencil were all you needed.

Any info will be appreciated.

Contact your chain of command. Send a letter to your commander explaining why you want to mobilize, and any relevant facts. Keep it to one page -- don't tell him the history of the world, just tell him the basic facts.
