I recently enlisted in the arng and due to the mos I have I will be in the same unit, same section (everything) with my fiance. My question is what are the policies for this type of situation? What are the big no no's that need to be avoided?

Dont worry about it. You will be alright.

You should see all the couples that get hooked up, knocked up, married, and divorced all while in AIT. lol

They mostly care in BCT, after that...aslong as they arent NCOS/Officers or in your chain of command you are good.

I am utterly amazed they started doing this. Seriously, WOW!

Basically, keep it professional while in uniform. We have several couples in our battalion headquarters, and sometimes its hard to tell they are a couple.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who looks forward to deployment just for the "vacation from home" haha. I can't imagine what it would be like to deploy with my girlfriend...scary. Talk about stress on top of stress. I think any prior service here has lots of stories of fraternization gone wrong. I know I do. I'm sure it will work out for YOU just fine, I'm just saying that I learned MY lesson years ago, "don't **** in your nest".

I know it is off the wall...But I wonder if there is significant amount of "adultry" going on in the FOB? Just leave some rent money by the lamp stand if you will....Ole to the West Pac widows:rolleyes:

Regardless of General order #1, we have females re-deploying early due to getting pregnant (I guess they didnt want that to happen) and the BAS is getting hit with so many STD cases. Thank goodness this isnt NAM.

Vegas tourism ads stole this one from us: "What happens on deployment, stays on deployment"
