Hey everyone,
I am hoping to join Temple University's Army ROTC program in the fall. I had a few questions about it.
Are you issued uniforms? Do you have to pay for them? When do you usually receive them?
What do you have to do to join? Do need to pass any physical fitness tests?
What are the classes and labs like? What do you usually do?
Thanks!

Yes. No. During the week before classes begin or the first week of classes.
Contact the schools ROTC department, and register for the class. You must pass the APFT if you are contracted.
The classes teach you about being an effective leader, and labs are usually about tactics to prepare you for LDAC.

just to add to this, you need to pass the APFT just to maintain your scholarship, but while in ROTC, you will be encouraged to max it.

You should always shoot for the best during your APFT but at the same time passing is passing. As long as you pass (even with a 180), your scholarship is intact.
