I was just wondering if there are any National Guard M1 Abram Units remaining. I was told that my old MOS (1833) from the Marine Corps converts to 19K.
Just something I figured I would keep on the back burner if it does. I’m sure there must be a limit on your break in service as well.

Last I heard there are four battalions in the entire guard remaining. Most likely Cavalry units. I know one is in Oregon.

We've got tankers in TN. They are part of the 278th ACR. Not sure if there any slots. If you're interested just PM me and I'll help get you some more info.

At least you wont have to do BT/AIT. One of my guys enlisted as a 19K and by the time he finished AIT, he came back to a motor pool with no tanks.
Enjoy them while they're there.

Whole lot of training for nothing.
