:confused: :confused: I just got into the guard with a waiver for a RE-4b and Sep code HKK1. I had an OTH discharge but got it upgraded to General under honorable. I wanted to do active Army but they would not waive the RE-4b. I enlisted under try-one with the Guard. Question being how long will I have to serve before I try to go active? Am I eligible for active after serving the try one? , Or can I try to change over to active prior to completing the try one?

You found the Loop Hole...serve your year, get your honorable NGB 22, keep the waiver from your state, and you are in active.
