Incredible Inauguration Photo

For those who haven't seen this yet.... It's pretty cool! Technology is amazing. My COL sent this to me this morning.... just thought I'd share!:)



Zoom in on the audience.

You can see everyone's face as recognizable.

Check out the senior Bush's. They are dressed for COLD weather...


Zoom in ('double-click' an area) ....wait and watch it focus.

Then to zoom some more... 'double-click' on an area and wait for it to focus.

This picture was taken with a robotic camera and weighs in at 1,474 megapixel (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera).

The camera used was an everyday Canon that pulled together over 200 individual shots with the help of a robotic assist and included software.
Each zoom in takes a second to focus ...and then you can see some amazing reactions.

Found something new though: one of the Marines in the band is absolutely sleeping (second row from the top, second from the left). Semper Zzz...

I zoomed in on some military folk way behind the photographer tower.... you could zoom all the way in to see their rank! Amazing!

I found Aretha Franklin but that was it. Since everyone is so bundled up they all start looking alike after staring at them for a few minutes lol.

If you look like 8 rows behind President Bush theres a huge golden winged statue thingy on some guys head (just left of the guy with the cowboy hat).... what the heck is that and why is it on his head? LOL

Edit: Nevermind I think I see it. I would say that it's part of the wall or whatever that's behind him, but I don't see anything else like it. But I don't think it's on top of his head? Hmm....

Actually they are the "PRESIDENTS OWN" Marine Corps Band. They are also called "None"!...as is Second to None.:D
