Well I graduated from college in December and started thinking about joining the National Guard to do my part as an American and give back and of course the benefits weren't bad either. So I went to MEPS yesterday and got sworn in I'm shipping to Fort Jackson 20090910 42F. I'm super excited and wish I could go now but that was the first available spot. I actually had a really good experience at MEPS too, I was expecting really hateful people and waiting around all day, but the physical went really quickly and most of the civilians working there were actually pretty nice and some were even funny. So far, my experience has been great and can't wait to experience more.
