I just want to say what an exciting time it is to be alive. In the military or civilian world. The challenges, both personal and at the national level that we face as a country are huge. But think on it this way. If you can weather through these pains and still hold on, even after taking hits here and there, you are going to come out so much more confident. In knowing that you are capable of the proper sacrifice to take care of your family, the ones you care for, your country, and yourself. Times like this really allow people to shine and rise above so much. I know some of you may not agree with or see it, but God is working through all of us, day by day to see that we are provided for and taken care of. I see so much hope and promise on this forum of people young and old setting new courses in there life. Its awesome to see that. The devotion and sacrifice for what ever reason. Its great to be a part of that. Enjoy your day....and the next.

Regardless of what's going on, life IS good! :) It's all in HOW you look at it.
Anytime you are pushed outside of your comfort zone is an opportunity to grow and learn.

Amen Quantum!

One thing History has taught us is that this country always comes back stronger than it was before a "crisis." Also, remember that 93% of people are working:D

I work for a small family owned company (my Father's) and it is rocking this month (as it was the last 1/4 of last yr. - which was not a good year)! I see a good year in 2009!

I also get to start my dream career this May - being an American Soldier. The process for me (OCS after BCT) will be long but worthwhile!

See ya at Benning!:D
