1)Do I have to go back to the mos I had in the corps.No.
2) Will I get retraining in the new mos if I reenlist in combat armsYes.
3)Is there a bonus for reenlisting in combat arms for prior service.Yes.
4)Are there any airborne or air assualt units in njTechnically, yes. Although, there really isn't much "air assaulting" done. It is an aviation unit.
5)AGE LIMITTO JOIN"Age - Applicants must be between the ages of 17-41. Persons with prior military service may be able to enlist at an older age. "
Where are you located? There are Infantry slots all over the state, you don't have to go to an Infantry unit. If you want to be an armorer, there are armorer slots too.

The age limit depends on the amount of years you had in the military. enlistment age is 42 plus any prior service time IE 42 + 4years active puts you at 46. You can join for any MOS you want but if you choose other than your previous Marine mos you will have to attend a school but yes you can do something different. you can get a bonus if you have less than 16 yrs active and shoot for a Army critical mos. IM not sure about the Units in NJ you will need to check around. you can attend Airassult school in any unit though its just a designation kinda like the Navy and Marine Aircrew. Fell free to ask onther question.

ok you do not need to go back into the same MOS, if you come back as combat arms no you do not need to get retrained but there is a infantry refresher course. yes there is a prior service enlistment bonus, there is a avaition air assualt unit, no airborne, but plently of infantry. the age limit for prior service actualy depends on your years of service, so lets say your 45 and you had 8 years of service , that brings you down to 37 and the limit is 42 so you would be good to go. Any questions or if you would like to start working with a recruiter please contact me on my cell or email.
