I'm getting back in under a RE4. I'm prior Navy. It can be done, that's what waivers are for. The recruiter that you have is probably one of those lazy ones that don't wanna go through the hassle. I'm here in NJ.

The ARNG ECM states that an RE-4 from any component of the Army is ineligble for enlistment. It also shows that your narative reason for seperation, has no waiver authorized. It may be posible for some applicants, from other branches of service to enlist with an RE-4, if the narative reason is waivable. There are different rules for every situation. It is always best to get your answers from those who deal with the regulations on a daily basis. That is about the best advice I can give to anyone on these forums.

If the discharge was anything other then Honorable along with the RE code 4 you'll robably need to go to the local VA and have them help you do a request to change military records. This will change your discharge so your able to get in, thats if your recruiter there says that a waiver can NOT be done for your situation. I recommend taking the time no matter what to get the discharge changed. Good luck
