How many years ago was that picture taken, Mr. Quinones? You may have posted the answer before but i'm not THAT curious to go look. I only ask because one of them could be an identical twin to someone but not if it was too long ago and for some reason I thought I saw you post it was the 80's.

That pic was taken from my Fort LeonardWood graduation book circa 1983. Actually our cycle was issued the OD and new BDU field jackets so that pic was probably taken in late 82 or early 83. I went to Basic in July 1983. The DS in the pic was part of our company.

Chief, in about 60 days, the great state of Alabama, will be swapping over to Digital TV!! So no more Rabbit Ears can be used, but you will still get 13 channels.. I have heard crazy rumors of these indoor outhouses, but thats just crazy, who would want to dig a huge hole in their bedroom/kitchen/garage/living room. That would disturb the hunten dawgs, and they can sleep wherever they want.

oh thats right. Man, there is no HDTV in Germany. You have to by SKY TV which is based in England and pay 500 euros for HDTV. Then 200 euros a year as well. What a rip-off. I wish I was home for that. I love high-def.

Actually its nation wide that we go Digital February 17th. A few friends got the box (they have cable service but wanted it just incase) and two of them get 20 channels with it.

We still had a black and white tv in the kitchen growing up. The other one in the finished downstairs family room was color but only 13 channels (technically first few didnt have anything so probably more like 10 channels) and no remote. I come from a little bit of money, that wasnt the reason, the 'new' tv's were coming out but parents were frugle, we waited until prices went down before gettin' the new technology. Had to wait for Atari for almost a year!! I remember not having a microwave and when everyone started getting them. Had typewriting class in high school, not keybording. lmao
