Have you talked with a recruiter yet? That would be step #1.
he would probably advise you to go see a cardiologist and get an ECHO and EKG to see what condition it is in.
he could then try to get a Medical Waiver for you from the MEPS.
I also have a heart murmer and am trying to join. If you havent already you need to go to the cardiologist and see if it is a beneign murmer or an innocent murmer.
My recruiter just sent out my forms last week for my medical waiver, we are awaiting what they have to say. But at least it's a shot and not just a 'nope your disqualified'.
