What did the recruiter or MEPs tell you? I dont understand what you mean by discharged. Did you pass MEPS first and get an MOS and contract lined up and the day you were supposed to ship you failed weight? So why do you call yourself a soldier?

Chief,
He has to make height and weight (or tape) before they will let him ship. He has to ship within 1 year of enlisting.
To answer your question, you need to make height and weight FIRST, and then see a recruiter. You will need a waiver, but will not get one till you show you can meet the standard.

To show them you mean it, I would go 10% below max.
i.e. if your max is 200, you need to be 180

yes, just watching the news. its almost 1am but we turn back the clocks today so I will now be 6 hours ahead instead of 5.

Dont most of us also turn the clocks so it would keep you at five? lol
I know its drill weekend and they let us go home after final formation again. After going out and getting up at 0430 for the drive back i'll need that extra hour!

Will they tape you before you ship? Or just weight? I am floating around my mark... one day I could be lower the next higher... anyway I would pass the tape!
Thanks!

Ht / WT first, then tape.
