No doubt. Almost makes this old fart want to become an infantryman. Naa, on second thought I just go on feeding everyone and leave this job to the younger soldiers.
On a serious note I just wish someone in the media had the guts to play the speech in it's entirity.

Roger that.... Echo and Rhughes!..What's wrong with being just a little conservative. I am not an angel.. but Iam young and love to hang out and party. I like nice cars and love my girlfriend. I love to play hockey and I love to workout and ...well you get the picture.
I love my family and god and country. I open doors for the old timers and I walk to the door when I pick up my girlfriend. I have respect for my parents and everyone else. So why is it ? when I like to hear people talk about important issues about our great great country it can only be heard on AM radio. Sorry for going off a little.

True Blue,
I know the moderators do not want this forum turneded into a social or political arguing center. But the short answer to your question is that the values you were taught by your parents are not taught by a lot of parents. Our country has undergone a phiosphical change since the 1960's and the fruit of this is being harvested today.
Things have changed in this country in the last 30 years to the point where integrity, honor, and respect are laughed at and made fun of. Or in the case of the media (not all but a lot) these words either are no existant or have been obscurred to the point they have no true meaning. So hence the real truth does not reach the population as a whole.
