RE4 need help please reenlisting

In short, I have a RE4 I was ignorant about my actions and I want to make up for it. If you would like to help that would be greatly appraciated and I'll go farther into detail about my situation. One thing you should know is that, everyone has had problems getting my DD214. I've been through the VA/NARA about 7 times, when a call was made to Lewis (?) they said I had no exit date... does that mean I'm still in or awol? Everyone says a DD214 is needed for reenlistment but a recruiter nearly got me in without it. It fell through at the signature for a waiver because command was going on leave. That was the only problem, so I know its possible but I just need someone to help. Anything would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Why not just wait till command comes back from leave to get the signature if that was the only problem?

I'm not sure how any of "us" can help you with this... I would also suggest that you wait until your "command" returns... and take it up with them.

bc from what the recruiter told me it seemed like no one wanted to help me, as soon as I heard that he didnt want to deal with me anymore

i was hoping i may get referred a recruiter to try and help me. I hear the ANG can get waivers from making "packets(?)" i beleave there called.

see my posts. I am an RE-4 now 11Br......you will have to work your butt off for it. You said the recruiter didnt seem intrested? You have the RE-4 not him. Make him intrested. show them reform! It is obtainable through hard work and dedication and most of that work will be your own. Good Luck.

.........This may be way off topic but, what IS a RE-4??? I keep seeing all these posts about it. Is it a classification you get when your discharged or what? I'm thinking I'm going to go find my discharge papers and look them over again. I got an honerable discharge, would it be possible that I have one of those too???
