I am on a GRFD and set to commission in May of 2010. I want to immediatley move onto get my masters and then my law degree. I have a couple of questions though. I am in the SC guard.

Does the guard give me any financial benefits towards graduate and law degrees?

If I am in graduate or law school, am I still deployable?

Can I add years to my officer contract in exchange for grad/law school?

1. Soldiers in grad school have largely the same incentives as Soldiers in undergrad programs. State tuition assistance varies by State, and some have restrictions on graduate work. Federal TA, MGIB, ROTC scholarships (for those who are otherwise eligible) all still apply.
2. Participation in a graduate program of study has no relevance to the Soldier's deployability.
3. For officers, use of FTA carries a two year service obligation (which runs concurrently with your other obligations, so it may not extend your actual obligation at all).
